Project Summary

“Tájfutásért-Pécs” Alapítvány and Orienteering Club Varaždin started the implementation of their project „Orienteering for All - Improving high quality learning opportunities for volunteers of orienteering events“ financed by ERASMUS+ Programme in October 2022.

 

Objectives:

The aim of O4All project is to increase the knowledge of orienteering volunteer event organizers and to develop their training by:

-mapping of the training needs in the field of orienteering event organization

-proposal for the optimal connection of the needs-participants-teaching materials-methods and its testing in the framework of pilot actions

-after evaluating the above, sharing experiences primarily with organizations active in in-service training for orienteering event organizers

 

Implementation:

Partners will implement the following activities:

-Management of the project

-Analysing and identification of learning areas of event organization to be developed, and applicable methods. Mapping of available training materials, best practices and planning of the pilot actions

-Pilot actions for testing the learning methods in the field of event organization

-Evaluation of the results and methodological recommendations for further education programmes of event organizers

-Communication, dissemination

 

Results:

The expected results of O4All project are:

-Training “matrix” - the areas to be developed, missing educational materials and teaching methods that can be used

-Proposal document and practical experience of tested methods

-Expansion of knowledge, new and more qualified volunteers

-More effective future training programmes for event organizers in the partner countries

-Basis for a next larger-scale strategic project to produce the missing educational materials identified in this project
